Offenes Organizing Treffen (IWW)
Wie geht es uns in der Arbeit? Wie kommen wir darüber mit Kolleg*innen ins Gespräch? Wie können wir uns mit ihnen gemeinsam organisieren, um unsere Situation zu verbessern? Wie können wir eine Betriebsgruppe aufbauen? Welche Methoden funktionieren in unseren Betrieben und welche nicht? Was können wir aus Fehlern lernen und in Zukunft besser machen? Auf diese und viele andere Fragen versuchen wir, im lockeren Rahmen gemeinsam Antworten zu finden. Das offene Organizing Treffen findet jeden ersten Dienstag im Monat ab 18 Uhr im Volxklub Ottakring (Familienplatz 6 / 1160 Wien) statt und ist offen für alle Interessierten, egal ob IWW-Mitglied oder nicht.

Die in Klagenfurt gegründete Band hat sich schon längst in die Herzen der österreichischen DIY Szene gespielt und sind aus den Kellerlöchern dieses Landes gar nicht mehr wegzudenken. Roher Hardcorepunk, mal auf Englisch, mal auf Deutsch, aber immer auf die Fresse. Das ganze wird abgerundet durch eine große Portion Humor und Augenzwinkern. Vorbildlich haben die vier schon zum Fahrrad gegriffen und darüber gesungen, als es noch nicht cool war über den Klimawandel zu reden!

But even in leftist and autonomous spaces the “I am the feminist” dudes, macker Bois, mansplaining masters, the exclusion through reproducing binary unreflected stereotypes, the “expert boys” to “expert boys” talks and also sadly different forms of verbal and emotional aggressions.
Those are just a few things that make our FLINTA* rage grow every day.
🔥What can we do to feed our radical feminist joy and organize together in our day to day struggles?
🔥In a loose continuation of “Radical Gossip” workshop held in summer, we want to give a space to questions, ideas and sharing a nice time together.
🔥Our hope is to create a community that can support each other’s ideas and to start regular meetings to provide a space for different forms of organizing. We want to think about how the EKH spaces can be used as a platform for queer and feminist events, actions and voices.
